Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions

These Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your participation in the Portrio Affiliate Program (“Program”). By applying to or participating in the Program, you (“Affiliate”) agree to be bound by this Agreement. Please read it carefully before applying.
1. Program Overview
Portrio operates an affiliate marketing program that allows approved individuals and organizations to earn commissions by referring customers to portrio.ai. The Program is powered by Dub, a third-party affiliate tracking platform.
2. Eligibility
To participate in the Program, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a valid PayPal account or bank account for receiving payouts
- Own or operate a website, social media account, newsletter, blog, YouTube channel, or other content platform
- Agree to and comply with all terms set forth in this Agreement
Portrio reserves the right to approve or reject any application at its sole discretion.
3. Commission Structure
Approved affiliates earn a commission of 35% on every completed purchase made by a referred customer through their unique affiliate link.
Commissions are calculated on the net sale amount, excluding taxes and any discounts applied at checkout.
The commission rate in effect at the time of your approval will remain your rate for the duration of your participation. Changes to the Program’s commission rate apply only to affiliates who join after the change takes effect.
Portrio reserves the right to modify commission rates for all affiliates with 30 days prior written notice.
4. Cookie Duration
Each affiliate link carries a 60-day cookie. If a referred visitor completes a purchase within 60 days of clicking your affiliate link, you will receive the commission for that sale, even if they did not purchase on their first visit.
5. Refunds and Chargebacks
Portrio offers a 7-day refund window to customers from the date of purchase. If a referred customer requests a refund within this period, the associated commission will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Portrio reserves the right to withhold, reverse, or adjust commission payments where a refund has been issued. Commissions are not finalized until the refund window has closed.
In cases of fraudulent transactions or chargebacks, any associated commissions will be voided and, where applicable, recovered from future payouts.
6. Payouts
Commissions are paid monthly via PayPal or bank transfer. Payments are processed in the first week of each month for commissions earned in the prior calendar month.
A minimum balance of $20 is required before a payout is triggered. Balances below this threshold will carry forward to the following month.
Commissions must have cleared the 7-day refund period before they are eligible for payout.
Each affiliate must use a unique PayPal email address or bank account. Sharing payment details with another affiliate is not permitted and may result in payout withholding and account review.
7. Promotional Rules
Affiliates must promote Portrio in an honest, transparent, and compliant manner. The following rules apply:
Permitted promotional methods:
- Organic social media posts (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, TikTok, etc.)
- Blog posts, articles, and written reviews
- Email newsletters to your own opted-in subscriber list
- YouTube videos and podcast mentions
- Personal recommendations to your audience
Prohibited promotional methods:
- Paid search advertising (Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.) using your affiliate link
- Paid social media advertising (Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.) using your affiliate link
- Bidding on branded keywords such as “Portrio” or “Portrio AI”
- Coupon or discount sharing websites not authorized by Portrio
- Spam emails or unsolicited outreach
- Any form of misleading, deceptive, or false advertising
Violations of these rules will result in immediate removal from the Program and forfeiture of any unpaid commissions.
8. Self-Referrals
Self-referrals are strictly prohibited. Affiliates may not use their own affiliate link to purchase Portrio products for themselves. Any commissions generated through self-referral will be voided and may result in account termination.
9. One Account Per Affiliate
Each individual or organization may hold only one active affiliate account. Creating multiple accounts without prior written approval from Portrio is a violation of this Agreement and will result in immediate termination of all associated accounts and forfeiture of all commissions.
10. Disclosure Requirements
Affiliates are required to clearly disclose their affiliate relationship with Portrio in all promotional content, in accordance with applicable advertising laws and regulations, including the FTC Endorsement Guidelines. Disclosure must be clear, conspicuous, and placed near the affiliate link or recommendation.
Example disclosure: “This post contains affiliate links. I may earn a commission if you purchase through my link, at no extra cost to you.”
11. Intellectual Property
Portrio grants affiliates a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use Portrio’s name, logo, and approved marketing materials solely for the purpose of promoting the Program. Affiliates may not modify Portrio’s branding, create derivative works, or use Portrio’s intellectual property in any way that suggests endorsement beyond the affiliate relationship.
12. Term and Termination
This Agreement is effective upon acceptance of your affiliate application and continues until terminated by either party.
Portrio may terminate this Agreement and your participation in the Program at any time, with or without cause, with immediate effect. Grounds for termination include but are not limited to:
- Violation of any term in this Agreement
- Fraudulent activity or misrepresentation
- Inactivity for 12 consecutive months
- Conduct that Portrio deems harmful to its brand or reputation
Upon termination, any earned and eligible commissions (those past the refund window) will be paid out in the next scheduled payout cycle. Commissions under review or within the refund window will be forfeited.
13. Modifications to the Program
Portrio reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Program or any aspect of it at any time. Changes to commission rates will be communicated to active affiliates with at least 30 days’ notice. Continued participation after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Portrio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your participation in the Program. Portrio’s total liability to any affiliate shall not exceed the total commissions paid to that affiliate in the 3 months preceding the claim.
15. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United States.
